About Drew Lipner

Drew is a seasoned mariner, a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marine Officer, past member of an American syndicate in the America’s Cup, and was recognized as both a decorated dinghy and offshore sailor. He also brings entrepreneurial experience as the founder of InsightExpress, a pioneering media measurement and data optimization company later acquired by WPP.

At Maris, Drew is committed to modernizing marine transportation. Under his leadership, the company is developing ferries and water-taxi’s which are fully electric, hydro-foiling, carbon fiber designed for small to medium passenger loads; flagged in America, proudly built in America, utilizing 100% made-in-America parts & labor. These versatile vessels will also be configured to meet U.S. Navy needs—from transporting supplies to positioning combat troops—and will be fully compliant with the Jones Act and Subchapter T requirements.
